Sineroma, LLC. was formed in the Spring of 2006 to finance and produce the films of a group of young filmmakers from Virginia that included Romulo Alejandro, Steve Robillard, and Dustin Thompson.
The first short film, ROSKOSMOS, written and directed by Alejandro, received numerous recognitions including The REDCAT Project: Involve Showcase - Ivy Film Festival (Grand Jury Prize for Best Film & Best Undergraduate Drama) - Rosebud Film Festival (Rosebud Award) - OSTN-Internet2 Film Festival - DC Shorts FIlm Festival. In 2009, Alejandro collaborated with filmmaker Adoma Owusu on the film, Boyant, which was selected for the Boston Underground Film Festival and Vienna International Film Festival among others.
Dustin Thompson’s feature film, The Travelogues, was an official slection at the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival and Black Maria Film Festival.
Currently, Sineroma focuses on creative filmmaking by supporting its talented filmmakers, Romulo Alejandro, Steven Robillard, Dustin Thompson, all of whom live in Los Angeles, California.
